Cutting Losses and letting winners thrive is a winning combination. A lot of folks don't want to cut their losses short, dreaming of the next parabolic move that may never appear. It's the 'sunk costs' that get you. The idea that you put this amount in, and that it once rose to this level, but now it's down here. Hoping that it will one day rise. Better to cut that loss, and hop on a faster horse, in my opinion.
