Time will tell what will be the future coin of the realm — I’m with you on Bitcoin, but who knows. Bitcoin is the obvious answer, but saying it is the end-all be-all is a vote against human innovation and invention.

I’ve been toying with a new article regarding what I call End Stage Hyperbitcoinization, and the doing away of nation states. Kinda waiting on the alternative narrative that Brexit brings. That the EU even happened was a surprise, given nations coveting of sovereignty. To imagine a world with zero boundaries is science fiction — and I happen to like scifi.

Shifts in production occur especially on items that are commodities, leading to low cost leaders such as Vietnam. I don’t know that this is a harbinger of the crossing out of boundaries, more like emptying of commercial activity from one nation’s boundaries to another.

A universal currency will hasten this scenario, but then what are the consequences? More Overtourism in pleasant places? Might have a different effect, such as tribalism based on beliefs rather than country or race. And is that the riddance of borders, or the creation of new ones?
